Start with our Level 1 Program and build as you grow.
Level 1: Mat + Reformer Program. Start with our 250-Hour, Level 1 Program, where you will learn the foundations to teach the Pilates Mat and Reformer Systems (pre-pilates through intermediate). You will also receive our Art of Teaching Module, comprised of the skills you need to start your Pilates career on the right foot. Last, finish our course with our Level 1: Injuries and Conditions module, a virtual lecture, covering the most common injuries and conditions you’ll see as a teacher and how to work with clients safely and effectively.
Level 2: 250-Hour Advanced Apparatus Program. Continue your journey with our 250-Hour, Level 2 Program to enhance your teaching with additional apparatus, including the Cadillac, Tower/Wall-Unit, High Chair, Wunda Chair, Spine Corrector, Small Barrel, Ladder Barrel, and more. The additional apparatus provides a comprehensive skill set that sets you apart in the industry, giving yourself (and your future clients!) more tools for success. You’ll progress your practice even further with the Advanced Mat and Reformer System, equipping you with the information you need to help your clients achieve greater mastery of their bodies. Complete your program with our Level 2: Injuries and Conditions module, a live, hands-on workshop uncovering deeper questions about modifying and working with various clients.

Students interested in joining our education programs should join us for a quarterly special Meet and Greets. Join PC Education Program Directors Keira Cumberland, and Casey Canino, current Pilates instructors, and past graduates for information on upcoming programs, how to choose the right program for you, and how to best prepare to set yourself up for success.
The cost is $20 to attend. The $20 can be used toward any future PC Education tuition (teacher training programs or mentorships).

Teacher Training FAQs

Students should expect to complete their program in 1-2 years, depending on which program they are enrolled in. Our 500 Hour Course includes:
110 hours of lectures (virtual and live)
110 hours of observation
110 hours of self-practice
110 of practice teaching
Approximately 60 hours of required reading, quizzes of subject matter, preparation for assignments due, mentorship meetings, and test-outs.
Our 250 Hr. Program is exactly half of our full 500-hour course.

We intend to teach you! If you already knew all there is to know about Pilates, you wouldn't need our program. We expect some pilates experience (usually about 20 classes or private classes), and a commitment to engage in a serious program that challenges you physically and mentally.
It's also important to note some of the best teachers are the ones who had to overcome obstacles in their practice. Your future students will appreciate a teacher that can help them embrace their challenges and help them work through them.ext goes here

No problem. Many students seek to deepen their understanding of the Pilates Method without teaching.
Reach out so we can learn more about your specific goals and create the right program for you. Perhaps you drop in for a module at a time instead of enrolling in the entire Program or check out our other education programs like PCS Passport geared toward expanding your personal practice.

Certified Instructors have a few options: enrolling in one of our programs and/or crafting a more specific Mentorship. Our mentorships are tailored to each individual and their specific goals. Depending on the student's goals, budget, etc., we put together a program that can include: private sessions; meetings/discussions with PCS instructors; observation of our teaching; attending modules/lectures of our TT program; and/or an offer to become an apprentice at our studio to begin teaching within a supportive environment. Completing the tailored program would earn a certificate of completion/endorsement from PCS Education.
Our instructors specialize in various aspects of the Pilates Industry. They can mentor you in (to name a few): Neurological Conditions, Classical Pilates, Contemporary Pilates, Breath, Working with Dancers/Children/Special Populations, teaching private clients vs. small group classes, and more.

1) Reserve your spot by submitting your: a) TT Deposit; or b) the full course Tuition.
2) We will send you an Application to complete before your official acceptance into the Program. If you are not accepted, you will receive a full refund of your Deposit or Tuition.
3) A payment schedule will be negotiated and coordinated if you want to enter a payment plan. Full Tuition must be paid by the program's start to receive a PCS TT Manual.
4) Once you are accepted, we will send you a welcome letter, a book list, and a first reading assignment. We look forward to working with you!
